Content:
The strategic orientation of one's own research group or professorship is a key prerequisite for academic success. The range of requirements - from acquiring third-party funding to publications and excellent teaching - is extensive. In addition, it is important to master the transition phase, i.e. starting work as a group leader or professor, and to position yourself strategically in the research and university environment. In this workshop, you will learn how to deal with the various role expectations and receive tools to organize your management area efficiently and effectively. The workshop also includes strategies for lateral leadership, which are particularly important as a group leader and young professor.
