This workshop focuses on the different publishing options for academics and helps developing an individual publishing strategy.
Publishing is essential for scholarly communication and for academic careers. At the same time, there is a great information deficit when it comes to the publishing process and the opportunities of publication.
Authors face numerous questions: Which publishing format makes the most sense? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option? Are there publishing channels that should be avoided? Does it make sense to pursue several publishing projects in parallel? And what should you look out for in contracts and licensing?
