In addition to its own services, it acts as a central platform for the wide range of services offered by TU Dortmund University, for example from Human Resources Development and the Center for Higher Education, the International Office, the University Library and the Center for Entrepreneurship & Transfer.

The Graduate Center is part of the UA Ruhr-wide Research Academy Ruhr, the joint platform for promoting young researchers at the universities of Bochum, Dortmund and Duisburg-Essen.
