Taking an international perspective, the workshop aims to help international Postdocs to assess their current position, to identify career goals and to develop a road map for achieving them in the individual setting.
The workshop provides a valuable overview of the German research and innovation system and addresses both the opportunities and challenges associated with consolidating a research career, covering not only the particularities of higher education and research institutions but also intersectoral mobility. Overall, the program is designed to facilitate career decision-making in a work environment characterized by project funding and temporary employment contracts.
