The first session is targeted at Master’s students, covering essential issues such as applying for a doctorate, funding, and doctoral supervision.
In the second session, students and early-stage doctoral researchers will learn how to successfully manage the first year of their doctorate. Additionally, participants will get to know the resources TU Dortmund University offers its doctoral researchers.
Throughout the information event, participants will learn about the peculiarities of the German scientific system, and they will discuss potential intercultural challenges associated with the German academic culture.
