In this workshop, you can learn methods and instruments of writing proposals

Even though there is no guaranteed success, the methods and instruments of writing proposals can be learnt. A prerequisite is an attractive project concept. If that is in place a solid project can be designed and a convincingly formulated application can be submitted.

Grant proposals are a critical tool for securing funding to support scientific research. Writing a successful grant proposal requires not only a compelling research idea but also clear communication, strategic planning, and an understanding of the funding agency’s priorities. Effective grant writing maximizes the chances of funding, enhances credibility, and strengthens a researcher’s professional profile.

The module will address the following questions /aims:

  • Overview the entire process of application preparation and assessment of which work steps are pending in which phase.
  • Formulating the application in compliance with the basic structure and formalities.
  • Using methods to develop a realistic work program including time and budget planning.
