This course provides an introduction to the basics of Python.

Python is one of the most widely used programming languages. The application possibilities extend across various areas. Python enjoys great popularity, especially in science, due to its low entry barriers. While Python is often not part of the curriculum in many technical subjects, it is often required by young scientists for their research.

This course provides an introduction to the basics of Python. The goal is the later application of data science methods, with the basics providing an independent value from later areas of use.
