Dr. Benjamin Brast

Benjamin Brast is the contact person for (prospective) doctoral researchers. Since 2018, he has been coordinating the “doctorate” field at the Graduate Center TU Dortmund. Here he is responsible for counselling services as well as information and qualification events. He also supports the Grants Office in providing feedback to researchers on their grant proposals.

Benjamin Brast received his doctorate (Ph.D. in Political Science) from the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS). He also completed a research stay at the University of Manchester (visiting PhD). Afterwards, he worked as a research manager at the central Graduate School of the TU Munich for several years, where he was responsible for communication as well as committees & quality management.
