Julia Mergner is the contact person for (prospective) doctoral researchers. Her responsibilities include providing individual advice as well as coordinating and designing information, networking, and support formats.

Julia Mergner studied psychology and public administration at the University of Twente (Enschede, NL) and earned her doctorate in economics at TU Dortmund University. She worked as a study and writing advisor at the University of Oldenburg, where she conducted workshops and consultations on topics such as orientation and decision-making processes and academic work. She then worked as a research assistant in the field of higher education didactics at TU Dortmund University with a focus on training and consultation in higher education didactics.
