Dr. Maria Verena Peters

Verena Peters is the contact person for Postdocs and Junior Faculty at the Graduate Center TU Dortmund. In addition to individual career counselling, she develops information and networking events for the target group.

Verena Peters studied English/American Studies and Comparative Literature at Ruhr-University Bochum and earned her doctorate in English Studies at the University of Siegen. She then joined the graduate service at FernUniversität in Hagen, in addition to working as a postdoc at Bergische Universität Wuppertal. In Hagen, she coordinated a mentoring program for early career researchers and designed various event formats for doctoral researchers and postdocs.
