This workshop helps doctoral students build resilience by identifying personal strengths, managing stress and developing strategies for well-being.

The workshop enhances doctoral students' resilience by exploring seven resilience factors and identifying personal strengths. Participants learn to recognize stress and develop resource-oriented strategies for mental resilience. They also gain practical tools for maintaining focus and balance throughout their doctoral journey. The importance of social networks is emphasized and attendees create a personalized resilience plan.

Intended learning outcomes:

  • Identify the seven resilience factors and characteristics of stress.
  • Name personal resources.
  • Set and prioritise action and result goals.
  • Access starting points for coping with stress and developing resilience.
